Hayward’s induced draft heater for above ground pools and spas combines the state of the art technology with ease of operation and superior performance. It features an electronic, direct spark ignition system and an energy-efficient Fire-Tile® lined combustion chamber. The heater provides 100,000 BTU input while delivering 81% thermal efficiency and quick heating. An integral induced draft system makes this heater completely impervious to any high wind situation. The one-piece copper header-heat exchanger provides leak-free performance. A 120 volt plug-in cord is included for easy installation and is NOT convertible to 220 volt. NOTE: Heater is limited to installations at 2,000 foot elevation and below.

Hayward H-Series Low Knox Induced Draft Heaters

The new Hayward H-Series Low NOx Induced Draft Heaters feature a patent pending Finn Plate™ heat exchanger with Cupro Nickel for constant heat dispersement, state-of-the-art pre-mix burners for environmentally friendly Low NOx outputs, hot surface Silicon Nitride ignition for instant and reliable fire up, and an advanced L.E.D. digital control panel for simple programming of pool temperatures.
It also includes an induced draft system that constantly moves air through the combustion chamber at a precise flow rate. As a result, all outside weather variables that can affect the heating performance, such as wind conditions, are eliminated — without having to install a high-wind stack.
NOTE: The Hayward IDL Series of heaters meet the NOx Emission standards set by the California South Coast Quality Air Management Commission for 2001 and the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission Code.
